We have organised an exciting trip to the Sahara for October Half Term 2024. It will be a varied tour which combines the exotic city of Marrakech, the splendour of the Atlas Mountains and the awe inspiring Sahara Desert.
Students will also have the opportunity to broaden their Geography studies with a visit to the Todra Gorge and the El Mansour Reservoir.
The outline of the itinerary will be:
Day 1 – Flight to Marrakech
Day 2 – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate
Day 3 – El Mansour Reservoir and The Todra Gorge
Day 4 – Draa Valley Zagora and a Camel Ride to Bedouin Camp in The Sahara
Day 5 – Sahara Desert and The Atlas Film Studios
Day 6 – Ouarzazate and Marrakech
Day 7 – A day spent amongst the villagers of Douar Oulad Eiguern, Flight Home
