A huge well done to Alfie C from Year 11 who arranged a fundraising day on Friday 25th November for NANNA Animal Rescue. NANNA is a Northamptonshire charity involved with rescuing animals and pet welfare and is always looking for people who are interested in adopting and giving new homes to pets.
Alfie organised a myriad of fundraising activities including a drive through coffee morning, mufti day, donation station and competitions. Alfie raised over £300 for NANNA and so many donations of animal food, bedding, beds, toys and treats that it filled several cars up! Alfie organised a fundraising day last year as well and volunteers at the charity most weekends helping with the animals – it’s a wonderful cause and very close to Alfie’s heart.
NANNA were absolutely delighted to receive the money and donations and wanted to thank Alfie and everyone who brought in donations. Patch the cat sent his thanks too – below is a picture of him enjoying a new very swanky donated bed! Excellent work Alfie.
