William Carter, Libiana Kimbell, Molly O’Connor and Ben Vramsmo represented Pitsford School at the Salters’ Festival of Chemistry at the University of Warwick recently.
They completed a series of competitive challenges that involved problem solving and practical skills.
At the end of the day they were treated to an impressive display of chemical reactions, one of which set off the fire alarm!
Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the event and their representation of the School was exemplary.
Salters’ Festivals of Chemistry are an initiative of the Salters’ Institute. Their objective is to help promote the appreciation of chemistry and related sciences among the young.
